Walkthrough
Feature 1
A small version of the Spellro logo appears near any text box you click into — inputs, textareas, comment boxes, rich-text editors.
Start typing anywhere on the web. The Spellro icon appears in the corner of that field automatically.
Spellro takes everything you've typed in that field and sends it to Groq's API using your own key, with a fixed instruction: correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization — never change the meaning, never answer questions, never add anything new.
The corrected version drops straight back into the field, cursor and all. A quick side panel confirms it and estimates how much time it just saved you.
Feature 2
Save short triggers for text you type often, and they expand automatically wherever you type them.
Click the Spellro icon in your toolbar, then "Open full settings" to reach the shortcuts manager.
Type a short trigger (like ..as) and the full text it should expand to, then save. Add as many as you like.
Type the trigger followed by a space, punctuation, Enter, or Tab, on any site, and it instantly expands into the full text.
Moving between computers
Settings → Text expander shortcuts gives you three tools:
Exports everything you've saved as a two-column .xlsx file — Shortcut, Expansion. Take it to any other computer or browser.
Upload that same file (or one you built yourself) on the new install, and every shortcut loads in at once — no retyping.
New to Spellro? Download a starter .xlsx with the right column headers, fill in your own shortcuts, and import it straight in.
Every fix and every expansion pops a small panel for ten seconds showing roughly how much typing time it just saved — and your running total.
